With 2000 Trees around the corner let's have a look at what the beautiful festival in the forest has to offer and what you can expect from a few of the headliners as well as some of my favourite choices from the undercard!

2000 Trees is held on a beautiful compact site on Upcote Farm in Gloucestershire. A festival which boasts 6 different stages of varying sizes, with a firm favourite for a lot of people (myself included!) being the Forest stage! A beautiful stage, carved out of wood which is situated, as it's name suggests. In the middle of the forest!

Started in 2007, the line ups have consistently been incredible with the festival giving chances to plenty of smaller bands who have then gone on to move further and further up the bill.

With people such as Frank Turner citing it as their favourite festival, and even having camps named after them (Camp Turner, IYKYK!) it's a place which holds a very special place in a lot of people's hearts and sees regulars coming back year upon year! It's a festival with a beautiful sense of community, allyship and friendship. A place where everyone is welcomed and enjoys themselves!

With 5 headliners across the main three days and a stacked smaller line up on the Wednesday too. This year is set to be another great year at the festival!

Thursday sees Irish group Kneecap - the group have been in the headlines a lot recently, but Trees have been backing these guys long before this, and have championed them for a good while!

The only place you'll see them this year festival wise, other than a sold out Glastonbury! Plus, their only English headline set this summer! Their highly anticipated  upcoming release "Recap" is set to be a summer smash and I cannot wait to see them headline on Thursday!

The Hunna are a great band also playing the main stage late afternoon on Thursday! Having seen these guys go from playing The Joiners in Southampton to 200 people to smashing out MainStage sets at the likes of Download festival. I am so excited to see what they bring! Ryan, Daniel and Jack are fantastic live and always bring high energy to their fan favourite sets! A set which I have no doubt will be one of my favourites of the weekend!

For all you elder emos out there, Taking Back Sunday are co-headlining the Friday night alongside the glorious Coheed and Cambria!

A band who mean so much to all of from the original emo generation as well as a whole raft of new fans! I anticipate the crowd being a mix of people who remember the drama with Brand New and having "cute without the E" as their Myspace song, alongside newer fans! Exciting to see if Adam Lazarra can still swing that microphone round like he always did!

A very exciting band who are heading the second stage on Friday, Million Dead!

A band who have reformed after not playing together for a very long time with front man Frank Turner going onto other projects since. They have chosen to reform and play a select few shows and festivals this summer! I am incredibly excited to hear songs such as "Smiling at strangers on trains" live for the first time!

Then to finish off on the Saturday (because we LOVE the fact it finishes on Saturday and gives everyone Sunday to get back home before work on the Monday again!)

We have another absolute elder emo favourite Alexisonfire! I am incredibly excited to hear classics such as "Boiled Frogs" and ".44 Calibre love letter" live! A band who have been on my "need to see" list for a very long time and I am incredibly excited to be able to catch them live! Finally!
