If you know me, you know that I have liked Architects for a very VERY Long time!

Architects were a band that were part of the scene that I grew up in! They hail from not too far down the road from me in Brighton.... And would regularly play alongside bands that I grew up with and that I knew members of!

Seeing them absolutely smash out a huge UK tour, including a finale headline at the O2 arena in London. Was something incredibly special. These guys have grafted for so long! A band that have worked so hard for so many years to get to where they are now and it's great to see them getting the commercial success and recognition they deserve!

Although they have gone through lineup changes, and also the sad passing of a member.... They continue to bring out incredible music which resonates with so many of us.

Architects are a band that prove that you can have so much stage presence, without the need for lots of accessories and props! Their latest album, The Sky, The Earth and all in between, was produced by Jordan Fish who was previously a member of Bring Me The Horizon! It's evident with this latest album the step up which has been made! It's become apparent in the last few years, how much commercial success they have been attaining... Which has accommodated in this incredible O2 arena headline show and an arena tour across the UK! The support for this UK run came from House of protection and Wage War! This was a course particularly exciting, as on the album that the tour is in support of, they have a song with wage war!

Despite having seated tickets for this show, the energy was absolutely incredible! No matter where you were in the arena that night, you could feel the energy and see how how much everybody was enjoying the show! Standing looked absolutely ridiculous! The amount of pits opening up was a site to behold!

Sam Carter, is an incredible front man who holds so much power and can hold a crowd in a way that is rarely seen these days! A beautiful tribute was also made to Tom Searle who was one of the founding members of the band (one of the founding twins in fact!) But unfortunately, who passed away after a battle with cancer a few years ago. His twin brother remains in the band, as their drummer!

Having seen them do such incredible things on this tour... I cannot wait to see them again at the O2 sometime soon! Or at least in the UK in some way shape or form!
