One of the most sudden and exciting surprise gigs I've seen this year! A very sudden announcement and a very much "if you happened to be online at the right time' scramble for tickets landed me at The Underworld on a Friday night 24 hours after managing to snag a pair of tickets for this monstrous event!

Having already prior announced a UK tour at MUCH bigger venues which had long since sold out. A IG post denoted the sudden and immediate on sale event which would Knocked Loose at The Underworld.

Yep. You read that right. Knocked Loose at a 500 cap, no barrier, basement sweatbox of a venue! It did, as expected, got VERY rowdy! In the best possible way!

The support bands were absolutely great, so many stage divers and so much two stepping/moshing across the floor of the venue. At one point, even the lead singer of one of the support bands launching himself off the stage and crowd killing majority of the front of the crowd without warning!

Knocked Loose are doing incredible things right now, with their seminal performance on Jimmy Kimmel in support of their astounding album "You won't go before you're supposed to" and playing higher up on festival bills alongside selling out international tours. These guys are bringing hardcore back to the (alternative) mainstream in a big way that hasn't been seen for a few years!

The show was nothing short of incredible. I am, by my own admission, way too old to pit these days! So I took a step back and stayed on the upper part of the floor! But seeing essentially the entire floor erupt with pitting and stage diving throughout their set was glorious!

A set which spanned so many hits but it was absolutely great to hear the songs from their new album for the first time on UK shores! The venue absolutely erupted when Brian and the band started playing "Suffocate".

This was a no hold, pedal to the floor show of absolute chaos in the best possible way.

Everyone left that show drenched in sweat but with memories of a show which will go down in history!
