Pengshui - The Joiners

Social media is a shitbag for a lot of things! I know what a start to a post. Hey! But... It can be good for things!

Pengshui are a band that I discovered on social media! I was scrolling through my fyp one day on Tiktok, and one of their videos came up! I was instantly obsessed, and started deep diving cause I wanted to learn more!

Their style is described as a fusion of grime punk and heavy heavy bass! It's kind of tricky to explain them... And I wouldn't really know where to start! But I know that I absolutely love them and their live shows are unreal!

Although these guys only form relatively recently, in 2018. They are a group of musicians who have come from very different backgrounds but have been working for a long time on different projects before they came together to form Pengshui! If you like rapping with heavy beats and heavy bass you're going to. Love Pengshui!

Their shows are such electric energy in nature, and no matter where you are in the crowd, everybody is absolutely losing it! Seeing them at The Joiners was so much fun! The whole place was bouncing, and they absolutely smashed their set! They are definitely a band who I hope will go forward and will start playing bigger venues as well. As I know they have previously played lots of Festival slots! I cannot see wait to see what comes next from these guys but in the words of Pengshui.... Get comfy take your shoes off because they're here to stay!
