Sleep Token - O2 Academy Bristol

After falling in love with sleep token during lockdown. This was my first time seeing them live... And what a spectacle they are!

Opening with Chokehold was a brave move, as it's such a recent release. However the crowd clearly agreed with this decision, shouting every word back at them!

If you've never seen live footage or seen the band live. The best way I can explain Sleep Token is as an immersive experience. The band put on more than just a gig, everyone in the room is in the moment and incredibly passionate, knowing every single word. There are not many bands who can play the first note of a song, and the crowd erupts knowing exactly what is starting!

Sleep token after only two albums have already outgrown the venues they are playing. I truly believe we have future festival headliners in our sights and I'm so excited to see where they go and what they do next!

Special shout out also goes to NorthLane! I hadn't heard of these guys before the gig, but they bought their A game all the way from Australia. A classic example, of why you should always go and see support acts! You never know who you might see!
