So. Unless you've been hiding under a rock or have zero interest in the alternative music world. You'll know that Sum 41 have made the incredibly sad decision to finish their time as a band.
As soon as I heard this sad sad news, I knew I had to get tickets as soon as the UK final tour was announced!
I was lucky enough to get tickets for the final night of the UK tour in Cardiff. Which was incredibly emotional!

Cardiff arena is always such a great venue, and Cardiff shows in general are always so fun! This show was very special though!
The gig was an emotional rollercoaster. Having grown up with Sum 41 from an early teen, screaming the lyrics to the songs from All Killer no Filler on nights out and in the car when I was driving... Hearing them live was so fun! They smashed through the set list with classics such as Fat Lip, Still Waiting, Rise up and finishing their final ever UK show on In too deep officially! Followed by a second encore of so long goodbye.
The emotions were clear to see in the crowd as well as for the band.
A very special period in time has come to an end for this vast fan base and band. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours and hope that one day in the future we will see them again for some kind of reunion tour! But until that time, I hope they enjoy their time off!
